✧ Raising the hands in supplication

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ
كَانَ إِذَا جَلَسَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَضَعَ يَدَيْهِ عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ، وَرَفَعَ إِصْبَعَهُ الْيُمْنَى الَّتِي تَلِي الْإِبْهَامَ، فَدَعَا بِهِمَا، وَيَدُهُ الْيُسْرَى عَلَى رُكْبَتِهِ، بَاسِطَهَا عَلَيْهَا
Translation
✧ When he sat in prayer, he placed his hands on his knees and raised his right finger, the one next to the thumb, and supplicated with them, while his left hand was on his knee, spread out upon it.
