✧ Wiping the Ears

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ
كَانَ يُدْخِلُ يَدَيْهِ فِي الْوَضُوءِ يَمْسَحُ بِهِمَا مَسْحَةً وَاحِدَةً عَلَى الْيَافُوخِ فَقَطَّ، ثُمَّ يُدْخِلُ إِصْبَعَيْهِ فِي الْمَاءِ، ثُمَّ يُدْخِلُهُمَا فِي أُذُنَيْهِ، ثُمَّ يَرُدُّ إِبْهَامَيْهِ خَلْفَ أُذُنَيْهِ
Translation
✧ He would insert his hands into the ablution water and wipe with them a single wipe over the crown only, then insert his two fingers into the water, then insert them into his ears, then pass his thumbs behind his ears.
