✧ A Mouse Dying in Fat

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ قَالَ:
إِذَا مَاتَتِ الْفَأْرَةُ فِي الْوَدَكِ الْجَامِدِ قَالَ: بَلَغَنَا إِنْ كَانَ جَامِدًا أُخِذَ مَا حَوْلَهُ فَأُلْقِيَ وَأُكِلَ مَا بَقِيَ.
Translation
✧ When a mouse dies in solid rendered fat, he said: It has reached us that if it is solid, take what is around it and throw it away, and eat what remains.
