✧ The virtue of joining the row and making room for one who enters the row

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ، سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ:
لَأَنْ تَقَعَ ثَنِيَّتَايَ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أَرَى فُرْجَةً فِي الصَّفِّ أَمَامِي وَلَا أَصِلُهَا
Translation
✧ That my two front teeth fall out is dearer to me than seeing a gap in the row in front of me and not joining it.
