عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: حُدِّثْتُ
أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا لَا يَصُفُّونَ حَتَّى نَزَلَتْ: ﴿وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ الصَّافُّونَ ﴾﴿وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ الْمُسَبِّحُونَ ﴾
Translation
✧ They did not form rows until this was revealed: 'And indeed, we are those who stand in rows' (37:165), 'And indeed, we are those who glorify' (37:166).
