✧ Bones of the Elephant

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ:
رَأَيْتُ تَحْتَ وِسَادَةِ طَاوُسٍ عَلَى فِرَاشِهِ سِكِّينًا نِصَابُهُ مِنْ حَضَنٍ، قَالَ: وَقَدْ رَآهُ حِينَ رَفَعْتُ الْوِسَادَةَ
Translation
✧ I saw under the pillow of Ṭāwūs on his bed a knife whose handle was of ivory. He said: "And he had seen it when I lifted the pillow."
