✧ Does a Man Wipe His Head with the Leftover Water on His Hands?

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عَجْلَانَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ

كَانَ يَمْسَحُ بِأُذُنَيْهِ مَعَ وَجْهِهِ مَرَّةً، وَيَمْسَحُ بِرَأْسِهِ، يُدْخِلُ كَفَّيْهِ فِي الْمَاءِ، ثُمَّ يَمْسَحُ بِهِمَا مَا أَقْبَلَ مِنْ رَأْسِهِ، الْيَافُوخَ ثُمَّ الْقَفَا، ثُمَّ الصُّدْغَيْنِ، ثُمَّ يَمْسَحُ بِأُذُنَيْهِ مَسْحَةً وَاحِدَةً، كُلُّ ذَلِكَ بِمَا فِي كَفِّهِ مِنْ تِلْكَ الْمَسْحَةِ الْوَاحِدَةِ

Translation

✧ He would wipe his ears along with his face once, and he would wipe his head: he would dip his palms in the water, then wipe with them the front of his head — the crown (yafukh), then the back of the neck (qafa), then the temples (sudghayn), then wipe his ears with a single wipe — all of that with what was on his palm from that single wipe.
