The Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard some people disputing about the Quran, and he said: "Those before you were destroyed only because of this: they struck parts of the Book of Allah against other parts. The Book of Allah was only revealed so that parts of it confirm other parts, so do not deny parts of it by means of other parts. What you know of it, speak it, and what you do not know of it, leave it to the one who knows it."
