✧ Hides of Dead Animals When Tanned

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
سَمِعْتُ عَطَاءً يُسْأَلُ عَنْ أَوْلَادِ الضَّأْنِ، تُسْتَلُّ مِنْ أَجْوَافِ أُمَّهَاتِهَا فَتُخْرَجُ مَيِّتَةً فَتُجْعَلُ مُسُوكُهَا فِرَاءً قَالَ: أَتُدْبَغُ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: فَحَسْبُهُ، الْبَسُوهُ
Translation
✧ I heard ʿAṭāʾ being asked about the offspring of sheep that are extracted from their mothers' wombs dead, and their skins are made into furs. He said: Are they tanned? He said: Yes. He said: That suffices; wear them.
