أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ حِينَ ذَكَرَ حَدِيثَ سَارَةَ، وَهَاجَرَ: قَالَ:
فَتِلْكَ أُمُّكُمْ يَا بَنِي مَاءِ السَّمَاءِ - يَعْنِي الْعَرَبَ - كَانَتْ أَمَةً لِأُمِّ إِسْحَاقَ
