أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: قَالَ الثَّوْرِيُّ:
فَمَنِ احْتَاجَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ فَلَمْ يَجِدْ مَا يُؤَدِّي فِي جِزْيَتِهِ، قَالَ: " يُسْتَأْنَى بِهِ حَتَّى يَجِدَ فَيُؤَدِّيَ، وَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ غَيْرُ ذَلِكَ، فَإِنْ أَيْسَرَ أُخِذَ بِمَا مَضَى، فَإِنْ عَجَزَ عَنْ شَيْءٍ مِنَ الصُّلْحِ الَّذِي صَالَحَ عَلَيْهِ، وُضِعَ عَنْهُ إِذَا عُرِفَ عَجْزُهُ، يَضَعُهُ عَنْهُ الْإِمَامُ "
