عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: سَمِعَ الْإِقَامَةَ فِي السَّفَرِ، وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ مُدْرِكُهَا أَوْ بَعْضَهَا فَحَقٌّ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَأْتِيَهَا، وَمَنْ ظَنَّ أَنَّهُ غَيْرُ مُدْرِكِهَا فَلَا حَقَّ عَلَيْهِ ؟ قُلْتُ: أَرَأَيْتَ مَنْ سَمِعَ الْإِقَامَةَ عَشِيَّةَ عَرَفَةَ حَقٌّ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ الصَّلَاةَ إِذَا سَمِعَهَا ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ مَشْغُولًا فِي رَحْلِهِ.
Translation
✧ I said to ‘Ata’: If one hears the iqama while traveling and thinks he can catch it or part of it, is he obliged to attend it? And whoever thinks he will not catch it has no obligation? I said: What do you think about someone who hears the iqama on the evening of ‘Arafa—is he obliged to come to the prayer when he hears it? He said: Yes, unless he is occupied in his dwelling.
