أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ:
دَعَا عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، وَزَيْدَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ، وَعَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَبَّاسٍ فَسَأَلَهُمْ عَنِ الْجَدِّ، فَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ: " لَهُ الثُّلُثُ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ "، وَقَالَ زَيْدٌ: " لَهُ الثُّلُثُ مَعَ الْإِخْوَةِ، وَلَهُ السُّدُسُ مِنْ جَمِيعِ الْفَرِيضَةِ، وَيُقَاسِمُ مَا كَانَتِ الْمُقَاسَمَةُ خَيْرًا لَهُ "، وَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: " هُوَ أَبٌ فَلَيْسَ لِلْإِخْوَةِ مَعَهُ مِيرَاثٌ "، وَقَدْ قَالَ اللهُ تَعَالَى: ﴿مِلَّةَ أَبِيكُمْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ﴾وَبَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَهُ آبَاءٌ، قَالَ: " فَأَخَذَ عُمَرُ بِقَوْلِ زَيْدٍ
