✧ Leadership in prayer and what pertains to it

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ، أَوْ غَيْرِهِ قَالَ:
خَرَجَ مُجَاهِدٌ، وَرَجُلٌ مَعَهُ إِلَى الطَّائِفِ فَكَرِهَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ بِصَاحِبِهِ فَصَلَّى كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ وَحْدَهُ حَتَّى رَجَعَا.
Translation
✧ Mujahid went out with a man to al-Taʾif, and each of them disliked leading the other in prayer, so each prayed alone until they returned.
