عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ وَاصِلٍ الْأَحْدَبِ، عَنْ قَبِيصَةَ بْنِ بُرْمَةَ الْأَسَدِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ:
مَا أُحِبُّ أَنْ يَكُونَ مُؤَذِّنُوكُمْ عُمْيَانَكُمْ - حَسِبْتُهُ قَالَ: وَلَا قُرَّاءَكُمْ -
Translation
✧ I would not like your muezzins to be your blind men — I think he said: 'nor your reciters.'
