✧ What has come regarding the obligation of prayer

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ:
فُرِضَتِ الصَّلَاةُ خَمْسِينَ، ثُمَّ نَقَصَتْ حَتَّى جُعِلَتْ خَمْسًا، ثُمَّ نُودِيَ: يَا مُحَمَّدُ، إِنَّهُ لَا يُبَدَّلُ الْقَوْلُ لَدَيَّ، وَإِنَّ لَكَ بِهَذِهِ الْخَمْسِ خَمْسِينَ
Translation
✧ "Prayer was made obligatory as fifty, then it was reduced until it was made five. Then it was proclaimed: 'O Muhammad, the word with Me is not changed, and for you with these five are fifty.'"
