✧ The louse in the mosque is killed

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ زَاذَانَ، عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ،

أَنَّ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ أَخَذَ قَمْلَةً فَدَفَنَهَا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: ﴿أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ الأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا ﴾﴿أَحْيَاءً وَأَمْوَاتًا ﴾

Translation

✧ Ibn Mas'ud took a louse and buried it in the mosque, then said: 'Have We not made the earth a container, for the living and the dead?'
