عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُهُ، أَوْ أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَهُ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى قَالَ:
سُئِلَ مَرْوَانُ عَنِ الضَّرْبِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ قَالَ: إِنَّ لِلْمَسْجِدِ حُرْمَةً.
Translation
✧ Marwan was asked about beating in the mosque. He said: 'The mosque has sanctity.'
