عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قَالَ إِنْسَانٌ لِعَطَاءٍ: يَخْرُجُ إِنْسَانٌ فَيَبُولُ، ثُمَّ يَأْتِي زَمْزَمَ فَيَتَوَضَّأُ قَالَ: لَا بَأْسَ بِذَلِكَ، وَأَنْ يَتَخَلَّى فَلْيَدْخُلْ، إِنْ شَاءَ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ فِي زَمْزَمَ، الدِّينُ سَمْحٌ سَهْلٌ، قَالَ لَهُ إِنْسَانٌ: إِنِّي أَرَى نَاسًا يَتَوَضَّئُونَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ قَالَ: اجْلِسْ لَيْسَ بِذَلِكَ بَأْسًا، قُلْتُ: فَتَتَوَضَّأُ أَنْتَ فِيهِ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، قُلْتُ: تَمَضْمَضُ وَتَسْتَنْشِقُ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، وَأُسْبِغُ وُضُوئِي فِي مَسْجِدِ مَكَّةَ
Translation

machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, who said:
✧ A man said to 'Ata': 'A man goes out and urinates, then comes to Zamzam and performs ablution.' He said: 'There is no harm in that. And if he wants to relieve himself, let him enter; if he wishes, let him perform ablution at Zamzam. The religion is lenient and easy.' A man said to him: 'I see people performing ablution in the mosque.' He said: 'Sit down; there is no harm in that.' I said: 'Do you perform ablution in it?' He said: 'Yes.' I said: 'Do you rinse your mouth and sniff water?' He said: 'Yes, and I complete my ablution in the mosque of Makkah.'
