عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: رَجُلٌ مَاتَ وَتَرَكَ ابْنَيْنِ لَهُ وَتَرَكَ مَوَالِيَ، ثُمَّ مَاتَ أَحَدُ ابْنَيْهِ وَتَرَكَ رِجَالًا وَمَاتَ بَعْضُ مَوَالِي أَبِيهِمْ قَالَ: " يَرِثُهُ أَحَقُّ النَّاسِ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِالْمُعْتِقِ " قُلْتُ: عَمَّنْ هَذَا ؟ قَالَ: " أَدْرَكْنَا النَّاسَ عَلَيْهِ
