✧ A person in a state of major impurity entering the mosque

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ قَالَ:
يَمُرُّ الْجُنُبُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، قُلْتُ لِعَمْرٍو: مِنْ أَيْنَ تَأْخُذُ ذَلِكَ ؟ قَالَ: مِنْ قَوْلِ: ﴿وَلا جُنُبًا إِلا عَابِرِي سَبِيلٍ ﴾مُسَافِرِينَ لَا يَجِدُونَ مَاءً، وَقَالَ ذَلِكَ مُجَاهِدٌ أَيْضًا
Translation
✧ A person in a state of major impurity may pass through the mosque. I said to ʿAmr: 'From where do you derive that?' He said: 'From the saying: "...nor in a state of major impurity, except those passing through"—that is, travelers who do not find water.' Mujāhid also said that.
