عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ كَانَ يَعْقِلُ عَنْهُ قَوْمٌ، وَلَمْ يُوَالِهِمْ قَالَ: " قَدْ وَالَاهُمْ إِذَا عَقَلُوا عَنْهُ وَهَلْ يَكُونُ ذَلِكَ إِلَّا بِالْمُوَالَاةِ ؟ " قُلْتُ: أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ غَضِبَ لَهُ قَوْمٌ وَحَاطُوهُ وَلَمْ يَعْقِلُوا عَنْهُ، وَلَمْ يُوَالِهِمْ قَالَ: " فَوَلَاؤُهُ لِلَّذِي كَاتَبَهُ هُوَ أَحَقُّ بِمِيرَاثِهِ "، وَقَالَهَا لِي عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: أَيْنَ قَوْلُ عُمَرَ: مِيرَاثُهُ لِمَنْ غَضِبَ لَهُ أَوْ حَاطَهُ أَوْ نَصَرَهُ ؟ قَالَ: " لَيْسَ هَذَا كَهَيْئَةِ الَّذِي لَا مَوْلَى لَهُ، هَذَا يُعْلَمُ مَوْلَاهُ
