قَالَ الثَّوْرِيُّ: وَأَخْبَرَنِي مُحِلٌّ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ،
أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُومُ عَلَى الْبَرْدِيِّ، وَيَسْجُدُ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ. قُلْنَا: مَا الْبَرْدِيُّ ؟ قَالَ: الْحَصِيرُ
Translation
✧ He used to stand on the papyrus mat and prostrate on the ground. We said: What is the papyrus mat? He said: The reed mat.
