أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ:
شَهِدَ عَلَى الْمُغِيرَةِ ثَلَاثَةٌ بِالزِّنَا، مِنْهُمْ زِيَادٌ، وَأَبُو بَكْرَةَ، فَنَكَلَ زِيَادٌ، فَحَدَّهُمْ عُمَرُ وَاسْتَتَابَهُمْ، فَتَابَ رَجُلَانِ مِنْهُمْ وَلَمْ يَتُبْ أَبُو بَكْرَةَ، فَكَانَ لَا يَقْبَلُ شَهَادَتَهُ "، قَالَ: " وَأَبُو بَكْرَةَ أَخُو زِيَادٍ لِأُمِّهِ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ مِنْ أَمْرِ زِيَادٍ مَا كَانَ حَلَفَ أَبُو بَكْرَةَ أَلَّا يُكَلِّمَ زِيَادًا، فَلَمْ يُكَلِّمْهُ حَتَّى مَاتَ
