أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لَهُ، يَعْنِي عَطَاءً: رَجُلٌ سَرَقَ فَقُطِعَتْ يَدُهُ، ثُمَّ تَابَ، وَقِيلَ لَهُ خَيْرًا، تَجُوزُ شَهَادَتُهُ ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ، قُلْتُ لَهُ: الرَّجُلُ يُجْلَدُ فِي الْخَمْرِ، ثُمَّ يُثْنَى عَلَيْهِ خَيْرٌ ! قَالَ: " تَجُوزُ شَهَادَتُهُ
