عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْنَا لِعَطَاءٍ: يُصَلِّي فِي الْمَضْرِبَةِ الَّتِي يَرْمِي الْإِنْسَانُ، وَهِيَ عَلَيْهِ، وَالْحِلَقِ ؟ قَالَ: يَنْزِعُهُمَا، قُلْنَا: إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ عَنَاءً فِي رَبْطِ الْمَضْرِبَةِ، قَالَ: وَلَوْ إِنَّمَا هِيَ الْمَكْتُوبَةُ، وَإِنْ صَلَّى فِيهِمَا فَلَا حَرَجَ، وَأَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ أَنْ لَا يَفْعَلَ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لَهُ: مَا الْمَضْرِبَةُ ؟ قَالَ: هِيَ النَّدْوَةُ، قُلْنَا: فَالْحِلَقُ ؟ قَالَ: الْأَصَابِعُ الَّتِي تَكُونُ فِي الْأَصَابِعِ إِذَا رُمِيَتْ
Translation

machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, who said:
✧ We said to ʿAṭāʾ: A man prays in the mirḍaba that a person throws, while it is on him, and [with] rings? He said: He should remove them. We said: That involves trouble in tying the mirḍaba. He said: Even if it is only for the prescribed prayer. But if he prays in them, there is no harm, though I prefer that he not do that. He said: I said to him: What is the mirḍaba? He said: It is the nadwa. We said: And the rings? He said: The finger-rings that are on the fingers when one shoots.
