1532 1517 - عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ. متن مخفيأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ بَيْنَا هُوَ يُصَلِّي يَوْمًا خَلَعَ نَعْلَيْهِ فَخَلَعَ النَّاسُ نِعَالَهُمْ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ قَالَ مَا شَأْنُكُمْ خَلَعْتُمْ نِعَالَكُمْ قَالُوا رَأَيْنَاكَ خَلَعْتَ فَخَلَعْنَا فَقَالَ إِنَّ جَبْرَئِيلَ أَتَانِي فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّ بِهِمَا قَذَرًا فَإِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَسْجِدِ فَلْيَنْظُرْ نَعْلَيْهِ فَإِنْ كَانَ بِهِمْا قَذَرٌ فَلْيَدْلُكْهُمَا بِالْأَرْضِ
Translation
✧ 1532 1517 - Abd al-Razzaq from Ma'mar, from Qatadah from the Prophet ﷺ, similar to that. Hidden text: The Prophet ﷺ, while he was praying one day, removed his sandals, so the people removed their sandals. When he finished, he said: "What is the matter with you that you removed your sandals?" They said: "We saw you remove yours, so we removed ours." He said: "Gabriel came to me and informed me that there was some filth on them. So when one of you comes to the mosque, let him look at his sandals, and if there is filth on them, let him rub them on the ground."
