✧ What Expiates the Ablution and the Prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ قَالَ:
خَرَجَتْ فِي عُنُقِ آدَمَ شَأْفَةٌ - يَعْنِي بَثْرَةً - فَصَلَّى صَلَاةً فَانْحَدَرَتْ إِلَى صَدْرِهِ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى صَلَاةً فَانْحَدَرَتْ إِلَى الْحَقْوِ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى صَلَاةً فَانْحَدَرَتْ إِلَى الْكَفِّ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى صَلَاةً فَانْحَدَرَتْ إِلَى الْإِبْهَامِ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى صَلَاةً فَذَهَبَتْ
Translation
✧ A wen—meaning a pustule—appeared on Adam's neck. He prayed one prayer and it descended to his chest, then he prayed one prayer and it descended to his loins, then he prayed one prayer and it descended to his palm, then he prayed one prayer and it descended to his thumb, then he prayed one prayer and it disappeared.
