✧ What suffices a man of clothing

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَطَاءً يَقُولُ:
يُصَلِّي الْمَرْءُ فِي الثَّوْبِ وَإِنْ كَانَ ذَا سَعَةٍ، وَلَكِنْ لِيَتَوَشَّحْ بِهِ، وَأَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ فِي الرِّدَاءِ مَعَ الْإِزَارِ
Translation
✧ A man may pray in a garment even if it is wide, but let him wrap it around his body. I prefer that he pray in a cloak with a waist wrapper.
