Translation

✧ Ibn Sirin sent me to ask al-Qasim b. Muhammad about dirhams that contain the mention of God: do people buy with them while they contain the writing? So I asked him, and he said: There is no harm in the writing with which they transact; they only transact with gold and silver. If you went with the writing on a patch, they would not give you anything for it. But dirhams that contain the mention of God should not be touched except in a state of wudu.
