✧ One Who Leaves Out Some of His Limbs

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:

قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: أَخْطَأْتُ إِحْدَى قَدَمَيَّ - أَوْ نَسِيتُهَا حَتَّى ذَكَرْتُ بَعْدُ - وَلَمْ أُحْدِثْ فِي ذَلِكَ شَيْئًا، قَالَ: اغْسِلِ الَّذِي أَخْطَأْتَ وَلَا تَأْتَنِفْ وُضُوءًا مُسْتَقْبَلًا

Translation

✧ I said to ʿAṭāʾ: I missed one of my feet—or forgot it until I remembered later—and I did not do anything about that. He said: Wash what you missed and do not start the ablution over from the beginning.
