✧ One Who Steps on Dry or Wet Impurity

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي رَجَاءٍ الْعُطَارِدِيِّ قَالَ:
سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ عَلَى هَذَا الْمِنْبَرِ فِي يَوْمٍ مَطِيرٍ يَقُولُ: صَلُّوا فِي رِحَالِكُمْ، وَلَا تَأْتُوا بِالْخَبَثِ تَنْقُلُونَهُ بِأَقْدَامِكُمْ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فَلَيْسَ كُلُّ جِرَارِ الْمَسْجِدِ يَسَعُ لِطُهُورِكُمْ
Translation
✧ I heard Ibn Abbas on Friday on this pulpit on a rainy day saying: Pray in your dwellings, and do not come bringing filth, carrying it with your feet into the mosque. For not every water jar of the mosque is sufficient for your purification.
