✧ Marriage, divorce, and taking back without evidence

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
لَا يَجُوزُ نِكَاحٌ وَلَا طَلَاقٌ وَلَا ارْتِجَاعٌ إِلَّا بِشَاهِدَيْنِ، فَإِنِ ارْتَجَعَ وَجَهِلَ أَنْ يُشْهِدَ وَهُوَ يَدْخُلُ وَيُصِيبُهَا، فَإِذَا عَلِمَ فَلْيَعُدْ إِلَى السُّنَّةِ إِلَى أَنْ يُشْهِدَ شَاهِدَيْ عَدْلٍ ".
Translation
✧ Marriage, divorce, and taking back are not valid except with two witnesses. If he takes her back and forgets to have witnesses while he is having intercourse with her, then when he knows, he should return to the Sunnah by having two upright witnesses testify.
