✧ Testimony of the People of the Book, some against others

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، وَرَبِيعَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَا:
لَا تَجُوزُ شَهَادَةُ الْيَهُودِيِّ عَلَى النَّصْرَانِيِّ، وَلَا تَجُوزُ شَهَادَةُ النَّصْرَانِيِّ عَلَى الْيَهُودِيِّ. وَتَجُوزُ شَهَادَةُ النَّصْرَانِيِّ عَلَى النَّصْرَانِيِّ، وَالْيَهُودِيِّ عَلَى الْيَهُودِيِّ
Translation
✧ The testimony of a Jew against a Christian is not permissible, nor is the testimony of a Christian against a Jew permissible. The testimony of a Christian against a Christian is permissible, and of a Jew against a Jew.
