أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي حَكِيمٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ يَقُولُ:
آخِرُ مَا تَكَلَّمَ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: قَاتَلَ اللهُ الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى، اتَّخَذُوا قُبُورَ أَنْبِيَائِهِمْ مَسَاجِدَ، لَا يَبْقَى - أَوْ لَا يَجْتَمِعُ - بِأَرْضِ الْعَرَبِ دِينَانِ
Translation
✧ The last thing the Messenger of God ﷺ spoke was: “May God fight the Jews and the Christians; they took the graves of their prophets as places of worship. Two religions shall not remain—or shall not coexist—in the land of the Arabs.”
