أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ وَالثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ قَالَ:
كَتَبَ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ " فِي رَقِيقِ أَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ يُسْلِمُونَ يَأْمُرُ بِبَيْعِهِمْ، قَالَ الثَّوْرِيُّ: وَكَذَلِكَ نَقُولُ: يُبَاعُونَ
Translation
✧ Umar b. Abd al-Aziz wrote concerning the slaves of the dhimmis who become Muslims: He orders that they be sold. Al-Thawri said: And that is what we say: They are to be sold.
