✧ A Muslim offering condolences to a Dhimmi

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ جُرَيْجٍ وَالثَّوْرِيَّ، يَقُولَانِ:
يُعَزِّي الْمُسْلِمُ الذِّمِّيَّ يَقُولُ: لِلهِ السُّلْطَانُ وَالْعَظَمَةُ، عِشْ يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ مَا عِشْتَ، لَا بُدَّ مِنَ الْمَوْتِ
Translation
✧ A Muslim may offer condolences to a dhimmi, saying, 'To God belongs dominion and might. Live, O son of Adam, as long as you live; death is inevitable.'
