أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ:
لَوْ كَانَ مَعِي يَهُودِيٌّ أَوْ نَصْرَانِيٌّ فَمَاتَ، وَلَيْسَ مَعَهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ دِينِهِ أَحَدٌ - إِذًا أَدْفِنُهُ، وَلَمْ أَتْرُكِ السِّبَاعَ تَأْكُلُهُ، وَلَا أُغَسِّلُهُ، وَلَا أُصَلِّي عَلَيْهِ
Translation
✧ If a Jew or Christian were with me and died, and there was no one of his own religion with him, then I would bury him and not leave the beasts to eat him, but I would not wash him or pray over him.
